Distributions of displacement, stress, electro-static potential and electric displace ment are presented from an exact solution for piezoelectric composite laminates in cylindrical bend ing. Examples establishing the static behavior of a laminate under distributed and patched mechanical and electrical loadings are considered for several parametric cases. These results pro vide initial indications of the basic response and parametric behavior of laminates composed com pletely or in part of embedded piezoelectric layers.
